(Charlotte, NC – July 1, 2009) – Moments ago (Noon EST), Campus Pride’s founder and executive director Shane Windmeyer, otherwise known as "Buff Faye All You Can Eat," placed in the “Top 25” and successfully advanced to the final lap of the online competition for RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 2 on Logo. “Thrilling, the race is an excitingopportunity for Campus Pride to raise attention for what we do for LGBT and ally college students,” said Shane Windmeyer, founder and executive director of Campus Pride. “Buff Faye thanks all her ‘Team Buff’ fans who put her in the final round… but we have a lot of work to do beforethe race is over on July 8. Buff Faye, who is best described as a camp drag queen, won the first round by being in the top 100 and the second round by being in the top 25. She is currently competing with the remaining twenty-five in the finalround. The goal is to be the number one vote-getter before July 8.The winner auditions for the hit drag race show. Last year’s online winner was Nina Flowers who went all the way to almost win the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar."
